Welcome to the LIC/LISMA Language Center, where you can find a unique approach to your linguistic needs. The LIC/LISMA Language Center is a leader in providing English as a second language program for corporate executives and private citizens throughout the United States and around the world. The program is designed for non-native speakers who wish to improve their English skills for their business or personal use. Each course will help you meet your needs, incorporating the vocabulary specifically needed for your communication goals. The ESL program offers courses in written and oral communication. All of our instructors are chosen according to their qualifications and experiences. Through our courses, students develop their academic potential and will be able to succeed in any academic institution in the United States.
FOR INITIAL STUDENTS (OUTSIDE OF THE US):
If you live outside of the US and wish to attend LIC/LISMA Language School in the US as an F-1 student, please follow the easy six-step application process described below.
STEP 1:
Fill out and submit an Application Form and pay all of the required fees. There is a $100, non-refundable application fee. Full tuition must be submitted when an applicant applies to the LIC/LISMA Language School.
STEP 2:
Submit the following necessary documents:
– Copy of passport valid for a remainder of at least 6 months.
– Copy of highest diploma or transcript (minimum High School Diploma/Transcript).
– Bank statement no more than 60 days old.
(Bank statements must show at least $15,000(USD) for a one year I-20)
*All documents must be in English.
STEP 3:
Receive a Form I-20 Initial and Acceptance Letter from LIC/LISMA Language School
STEP 4:
Pay your I-901 SEVIS fee and save the fee receipt. Next, schedule and pay for your interview at a United States Embassy/Consulate closest to you.
STEP 5:
Once your F-1 student status is approved and you enter the US, you must immediately report to the school. When you report to the school, you will be asked to do the following:
– Placement Exam
– Student Orientation
– Enrollment Agreement

FOR CHANGE OF STATUS (COS) STUDENTS (INSIDE OF THE US):
If you are currently in the US and wish to attend LIC/LISMA Language School in the US as an F-1 student, please follow the easy six-step application process described below to change your status.
STEP 1:
Fill-out and submit an application form and pay all of the required fees. There is a $100, non-refundable application fee. Full tuition must be submitted when an applicant applies to the LIC/LISMA Language School.
STEP 2:
Submit the following necessary documents:
– Copy of passport valid for a remainder of at least 6 months.
– Copy of VISA
– Copy of highest diploma or transcript (minimum High School Diploma/Transcript)
– Copy of I-94 (most recent)
– Bank statement no more than 60 days old.
(Bank statements must show at least $15,000 USD for a one year I-20)
*All documents must be in English.
STEP 3:
Receive a Form I-20 COS and Acceptance Letter from LIC/LISMA Language School.
STEP 4:
Pay your I-901 SEVIS fee and save the fee receipt.
Next, file all appropriate and required documents to USCIS.
STEP 5:
Once your F-1 student status is approved and you receive your "I-797 Notice", you must immediately report to the school. When you report to the school, you will be asked to do the following:
– Placement Exam
– Student Orientation
– Enrollment Agreement

FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS:
If you reside in the US as an F-1 student and wish to transfer to LIC/LISMA Language School, please follow the easy five-step application process described below:
STEP 1:
Fill out and submit an Application Form and pay all of the required fees. There is a $100, non-refundable application fee. Full tuition must be submitted when an applicant applies to the LIC/LISMA Language School.
STEP 2:
Submit the following necessary documents:
– Copy of passport valid for a remainder of at least 6 months.
– Copy of VISA
– Copy of I-94 (most recent)
– Copy of all Former Form I-20s
– Copy of highest diploma or transcript (minimum High School Diploma/Transcript).
– Bank statement no more than 60 days old.
(Bank statements must show at least $15,000(USD) for a one year I-20).
*All documents must be in English.
STEP 3:
Receive an Acceptance Letter and a Transfer Form from the LIC/LISMA Language School and submit both documents to your current school.
STEP 4:
After completion of the transfer process, report to LIC/LISMA Language School immediately to complete registration. When you report to the school, you will be asked to do the following:
– Placement Exam
– Student Orientation
– Enrollment Agreement
STEP 5:
Begin your studies!
DOMESTIC US STUDENTS:
If you live inside the US as a lawful permanent resident or citizen, please follow the easy five-step application process described below.
Step 1:
Fill-out and submit an application form and pay all of the required fees. There is a $100 non-refundable application fee. Full tuition must be submitted when an applicant applies to the LIC/LISMA Language School.
Step 2:
Submit the following necessary documents:
– Copy of US passport valid for a remainder of at least 6 months or Green Card
– Copy of highest diploma or transcript (minimum High School Diploma/Transcript)
– Copy of Driver’s License
*All documents must be in English.
STEP 3:
Receive an Acceptance Letter from LIC/LISMA Language School
STEP 4:
Report to LIC/LISMA Language School to complete registration. When you report to the school, you will be asked to do the following:
– Placement Exam
– Student Orientation
– Enrollment Agreement
